The Deputy Leader Enugu State House of Assembly and Representative of Awgu North Constituency, Rt. Hon. Mrs. Jane Eneh has extended warm congratulations to the Executive Governor of Enugu State, His Excellency Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah upon his emergence as the consensus Governorship Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) during the APC Governorship Primary Election held on Thursday, May 21st 2026. In her congratulatory message, the Awgu North lawmaker described the governor’s emergence as a clear demonstration of the overwhelming confidence, acceptance and trust he enjoys among party faithful and the people of Enugu State. According to her “the eagle has truly landed” noting that Governor Mbah’s leadership has continued to inspire hope, unity and progress across the state.
Rt. Hon. Mrs. Eneh further applauded Governor Peter Mbah for the remarkable developmental strides recorded under his administration, particularly in infrastructure, economic growth, human capital development and governance reforms aimed at improving the lives of the people. She reaffirmed her readiness to continue working closely with party stakeholders and supporters across the state to ensure a united and victorious APC ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The Awgu North Representative also urged residents of Enugu State to remain supportive for governor Mbah’s vision and leadership, emphasizing that collective support and political harmony are essential for sustaining the pace of development and building a greater Enugu State for future generations.
