The senator representing Enugu West Senatorial District, Distinguished Senator Osita Ngwu, on May 19th, 2026, presented security equipment to the people of Ifite Mmaku, in Awgu LGA.
The donated gadgets are intended to strengthen security within the Mgbidi/Mmaku Ward by enhancing surveillance and rapid response within the area. Speaking during the presentation, Senator Ngwu stated that the safety of the people remains a top priority of his mandate. He pledged his continued support for community-led security initiatives and assured residents of sustained engagement to address emerging security needs across Enugu West.
The senator commended the Governor of Enugu State, His Excellency Dr. Peter Mbah, for his proactive and deliberate efforts in securing lives and property across the state. He affirmed his resolve to continue collaborating with and supporting the state government’s security agenda for the benefit of all residents.
