The Deputy Leader Enugu State House of Assembly and Member Representing Awgu North Constituency, Rt. Hon. Mrs. Jane Eneh on Wednesday, September 23rd, 2026 joined party leaders, stakeholders, faithful and supporters at the grand finale and rounding-off of the APC Chairmanship and Councillorship Electioneering Campaign held at Central School, Agbogugu, Awgu LGA. Speaking at the event, the Awgu North lawmaker expressed profound appreciation to the Executive Governor of Enugu State, His Excellency, Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah for his administration’s developmental agenda and the political appointments extended to the people of Awgu while appealing for greater inclusion of women in future appointments.
She also applauded the Executive Chairman of Awgu LGA, Hon. Uchenna Okolo for his efforts in advancing development across the council and called on the people to remain steadfast in their support for the APC at all levels, from the grassroots to the state and national levels.In

He commended Governor Peter Mbah for his developmental achievements across Enugu State with particular emphasis on Awgu LGA, where he highlighted completed projects, ongoing initiatives, and newly introduced development programmes. He further acknowledged the contributions of Distinguished Senator Dr. Osita Ngwu, Hon. Engr. Anayo Onwuegbu and members of the Enugu State House of Assembly toward the advancement of the council. The occasion attracted prominent political stakeholders, support groups, women leaders, government officials and other distinguished personalities all united in solidarity as the APC formally rounded off its campaign ahead of the September 26th, 2026, Chairmanship and Councillorship Election.
