The Deputy Leader Enugu State House of Assembly and Member Representing Awgu North Constituency, Rt. Hon. Mrs. Jane Eneh has extended warm felicitations to children across Awgu North Constituency and Enugu State on the occasion of the 2026 Children’s Day celebration, reaffirming her commitment to the welfare, growth and protection of every child. In a goodwill message made available to the public, the lawmaker described children as the future treasures of the society and urged parents, teachers, government institutions and critical stakeholders to continue providing a safe, enabling and morally sound environment where children can thrive academically, socially and spiritually.
Rt. Hon. Mrs. Eneh further advised children to remain obedient, disciplined and God fearing while striving to become responsible citizens who will contribute positively to society and national development. The Awgu North lawmaker also applauded Her Excellency, Chief Mrs. Nkechinyere Ihuoma Mbah, Wife of the Governor of Enugu State for her exceptional love and numerous child centered initiatives aimed at improving the lives of children across the state, noting that her humanitarian efforts continue to bring hope, inspiration and brighter opportunities to countless young people across the State.
