The Deputy Leader Enugu State House of Assembly and Member representing Awgu North Constituency, Rt. Hon. Mrs. Jane Eneh has joined millions of Nigerians in celebrating workers across the nation on the occasion of the 2026 Workers Day, marked on May 1st. In her goodwill message, she commended the resilience, professionalism, dedication and contributions of workers in both the public and private sectors; describing them as the driving force behind societal progress and economic stability.
The Deputy Leader further expressed deep appreciation for the sacrifices made by workers especially in challenging economic times, noting that their commitment continues to sustain governance and productivity across various sectors. The Awgu North Lawmaker also reaffirmed her commitment to supporting policies that promote improved welfare, fair treatment and better working conditions for all workers.
