The Deputy Leader Enugu State House of Assembly and Representative of Awgu North Constituency, Rt. Hon. Mrs. Jane Eneh, alongside stakeholders, party faithful and supporters across Enugu West Senatorial Zone have formally endorsed Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for a second term in the 2027 general elections.
The endorsement took place during the Enugu West Mega Rally held on April 18th, 2026 at Awgu Local Government Council Headquarters. The rally recorded a massive turnout of prominent political figures, grassroots mobilizers, enthusiastic support groups, and traditional rulers from the five local government areas of Aninri, Awgu, Ezeagu, Oji River and Udi. The massive gathering reflected a unified and resounding support for continuity in governance anchored on the sustained development across the state.
The Awgu North Lawmaker who played an active role in the rally reaffirmed her steadfast support for Governor Mbah and the APC family, describing Governor Peter Mbah’s administration as progressive, visionary and the most impactful in recent times . She commended the governor’s remarkable development strides across Enugu State, noting that his performance within just three years in office has earned him widespread trust, renewed confidence and justification for continuity.
In a further demonstration of commitment and solidarity, leaders of Enugu West presented a cheque of ₦100,000,000 (One Hundred Million Naira) in support of Governor Mbah’s reelection bid underscoring their collective resolve to consolidate on the gains of his administration and ensure continuity beyond 2027.
