The Awgu Youth General Assembly has joyfully congratulated its President, Comrade Okonkwo Victor Ifeanyichukwu who also serves as the Secretary of the Mbanabor South Youth Movement on his nomination and endorsement as the leading candidate for the APC Ward 9 Councillorship election ahead of the 2026 polls. The endorsement, unanimously supported by political stakeholders and the entire people of Ogugu Community has been widely described as a reflection of his dedication, grassroots influence and commitment to youth development and community progress marks another significant milestone in his growing political journey.
The selection exercise which was organized by prominent Ogugu political stakeholders, featured five energetic and credible contestants who participated in a peaceful and transparent process. At the end of the keenly contested exercise, Comrade Okonkwo Victor Ifeanyichukwu emerged victorious with a clear margin of eight votes ahead of his closest rival, Mr. Nnemeka Okafor. Supporters and stakeholders across the ward have continued to commend the maturity and unity displayed throughout the process while expressing strong confidence in his capacity to deliver purposeful representation and also wishing him greater victories and success in the main 2026 councillorship election.
