The Deputy Leader Enugu State House of Assembly and Member representing Awgu North Constituency, Rt. Hon. Mrs. Jane Eneh, has congratulated Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah on his global recognition as the African Business Friendly Governor of the Year. The prestigious award, organized by African Leadership Magazine was presented during the 15th African Business Leadership Awards Summit 2025 held in London, United Kingdom. Rt. Hon. Mrs. Eneh noted that the honour reflects Governor Mbah’s exceptional leadership and commitment to creating a business friendly environment where enterprises can flourish and investments can grow. She emphasized that the governor’s economic reforms and forward looking policies are playing a significant role in shaping Africa’s economic transformation while positioning Enugu State as a competitive destination for business and development.
She further commended the governor for the milestone achievement recorded with the establishment of Enugu Air which recently received its Air Operator Certificate from the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority and has commenced operations with six aircraft. According to her, the development marks a significant step toward positioning Enugu State as a regional hub for commerce, logistics and aviation in West and Central Africa, thereby strengthening the state’s appeal to investors and global partners. Rt. Hon. Mrs. Eneh also applauds the administration’s pro business policies that have attracted over ₦300 billion in investment commitments within the last three years.
